Ted Leo and The Pharmacists- Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Tears For Fears 1985 classic hit Everybody Wants to Rule The World is instantly recognizable. Most, if not all, people have heard this song at some point in their life.

Ted Leo and The Pharmacists cover Everybody Wants To Rule The World and they did an excellent job. While they stick closely to the structure of the song, their is noticeable differences. For starters, the tempo is sped up and there is a more "in your face" feel to the song. I feel like that is because the vocals. The vocals in the original are softer while in the cover the vocals have a more edgy punk feel. I kind of liked the cover more than the original but only slightly. Enjoy!
